The Great War as they call it. The world population was under a billion. There was no internet, no modern info age, infant mortality was very high. Population explosion in the 20th century, mass electrification were still to come.<br /> Tesla was alive though. Its really not if we were better off then or now. Clearly the modern age offers both simplification and complexity. What we have to do is make the best of the here and now. Because to the future, that is all that matters. I will say 100 years from now it will be antinukes that history will not remember as a group with any common sense.
