Medusafern, you are so correct in your comments and many people forget about the depleted uranium bombs in Iraq, too. I am writing this about 1.5 years after your original post and it still applies today only everything is much worse than it was. I live in Portland, OR and we had the driest winter on record and extremely high temperatures which could probably point to the toxins in the Pacific Ocean and the fallout. Radiation is also in the power Jet Stream that comes from the West and it is very powerful, clocking speeds of over 200 mph. Then fallout follows and the rain is highly radioactive. Forest fires. I'm not saying I know for sure, but that is a distinct possibility. I think "Fuki-nuki" material is burning within the forest fires (on trees, branches, dirt, humus, whatever), and as it gets incarcerated it becomes airborne once again. Aside from more releases from Fuku itself, that is the best conclusion I can surmise. The "spike" just seems correlated to the forest fires around the country.

Radiation up 50% in Hawaii, although sometimes a "normal" reading is interspersed --like yesterday, I had 11290 clicks in 8 hours.

But mostly the last week, been getting right around 18000 clicks.
