A 1 MeV photon is a qusnta of energy. Once it&amp;#39;s emitted and on its merry way to its target, it doesn&amp;#39;t care where it came from. This notion that a 1 MeV photon from potassium is somehow different than any other 1 Mev photon is absurd. The difference between isotopes is both energy and intensity (particles/sec). </content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='https://www.blogger.com/feeds/7390168029330307425/2689657500150084910/comments/default/1949323056452091229'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='https://www.blogger.com/feeds/7390168029330307425/2689657500150084910/comments/default/1949323056452091229'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='https://www.nukepro.net/2015/09/radiation-knowledge-for-dummies-wr.html?showComment=1441263592992#c1949323056452091229' title=''/><author><name>Loose Nuke</name><uri>https://www.blogger.com/profile/14225475544660127189</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='https://img1.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='https://www.nukepro.net/2015/09/radiation-knowledge-for-dummies-wr.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7390168029330307425.post-2689657500150084910' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7390168029330307425/posts/default/2689657500150084910' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty name="blogger.itemClass" value="pid-167628276"/><gd:extendedProperty name="blogger.displayTime" value="September 2, 2015 at 11:59 PM"/></entry></feed>
