Now that Window$ 10 has hit "Release", it seems timely to share the following.

The constant use on the CPU was hurting performance in games like GTA V too, as it still runs regardless of how busy your PC is. It shouldn't be this resource intensive?"

Reply of auxy: "Cortana is uploading a constant audio stream along with data about all the running processes on your system. Now I personally suspected that Microsoft just discards all of that data. However all of that processing doesn't come free. Welcome to the 21st century."
