when I was given my first dog, the owners told me about adding nutritional yeast - it significantly improves skin and coat conditions. just sprinkle some into their food - they should like it. Skin problems like itching can also be caused by dog food that has corn wheat and soy as they are GMO. My cousin swtiched her dog's food because of itching after I suggested she try dog food that didn't have those three ingredients
