These days, to learn what goes down in one's own country seems challenge enough. After listening to President Nana Akufo-Addo's COVID-19 speech -- the inspiring, spiritual call for RESISTANCE at its end truly goose-bumpy -- I ventured off on the web to see what had happened in Ghana since. What i found initially did not seem hopeful.

On the site "International Policy Digest", Kwabena Brakopowers made the case that "All in all, the lockdown speech by Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo was a great first step, but the government was simply not prepared for the outcome. The president’s near midnight speech had one aim – to save the lives of Ghanaians from COVID-19. Instead, it spawned panic and mass migration, thereby raising the stress level of Ghanaians.."
