Still in the running for the (informal, make-believe) title of CONs' Piracy Theorist of 2020, I submit that we may have some fake news here. Why so? Consider the deterioration of Infowars as "alt-media". Alex Jones has been a shill for Israel as evidenced by his views on 9-11; his former and current wife are reportedly Jewish; and, with the temporary exception of his stand on the false flag Sandy Hook, more a gatekeeper than a leading light.

How better to burnish the rep of Infowars and give that site more street cred than to have a pretty, white journalist arrested, her children taken from her, only to get released later. Mission accomplished!

I'd welcome comments to the contrary.
