As for minoxidil's ability to stop hair loss, the success rate varies widely from individual to individual. In most cases, the hair loss still continues but will sometimes do so at a lesser rate. I bet she is blonde, thin build, petite, shy, loves to hold her doll and be with her dog and wants to be around mom a lot but loves dad. More an indoor girl than rough and tumble?

A good friend of mine has a daughter that this happened to when they moved to South Dakota. Turned out that stress affected her eating habits and she hated meat of any kind which was part of the problem. Protein is essential for growth at this age. She lost her friends and had to make new ones. She never quite grew out of it but her hormones changed and by 10yo, things turned around and her hair became more full. Substitute meat with peanut butter for awhile.

Wash hair every 3 days using Grandpa's Pine Tar soap, comes in different scents and is all natural. Avoid over the counter shampoo even baby shampoo. Bathing washes off dirt and sweat but not the essential oils that a young human needs. Change pillow case every week.
