Mussels are tough little buggers.
Here is some good news from the Baltic Sea, which has approx. 90% biomass of blue mussels.
Mussels reduced Cs-137 from 294 Bqm in 1986 to 30 Bqm in 2012.
They chew through those radioactive heavy metals and also adsorb onto the shells.

This can be any bivalve shell dead or alive.
So it might be worthwhile for TEPCO and Japanese local govt to invest in some mussel and oyster shell redistribution.

Other than Cs, St and the rest, an overlooked element that is created by fission is I-129 and it's short lived daughters. From the link below:

"Iodine-129, although a result of nuclear fission in reactors, also occurs to a small extent in the upper atmosphere due to the interaction of high-energy particles with naturally-occurring xenon. Iodine-129 has a long half-life of ~15.7 million years, which makes this of significant concern when processing nuclear waste or when nuclear accidents occur."

Fukushima has lost about 300 tons of U-235 and PU and is in a fusion state all the time. The only moderator is the water they are putting into it and the ground water that flows through it.
