San Onofre powered society for years safely. Jackasses like Hoffman are harbingers of the hippie generation that used nuclear as their new Vietnam. These people will never get it and take many more risks with both their little vessel and the lives of many in their zealot quest against modern technology. I for one am very proud of my service to society in the early post TMI days and will continue to work to modernize the technology to make it even safer than it already is. Nuclear is inevitable for humanity. People like Hoffman are modern day Luddites. History wont be kind to the antinuke. For it was their efforts that kead to widespread fossil and ironically the release of more radiation ib the environment. The Kingston fly ash spull released more radiation than TMI.
