stock here: you can read the article, I just thought it was funny, and way overblown “accusation”. 1 in 20 are misdiagnosed, that doesnt actually seem that bad to me. A much more important stat, would be what percent of important diagnosis are wrong.
C;mon bro! The comments are much more pointed and relevant than the article. Jon, you can do much better.

What I would like to know is RFK Jr.’s calculus. What pressures are on him? Is he being physically threatened? We know Trump has been threatened via two assassination attempts. Does this have anything to do with RFK Jr.’s limits on how open he can be? For instance, if RFK Jr. told everything you or I know about the COVID debacle, or about germ theory being proved false, about virology being a pseudoscience, about the fact that viruses have never been proven to exist and vaccines are just poisons because nobody needs them, what would doctors across the country think?
My guess is they would totally reject everything RFK Jr. says or does, he would be considered a danger to society, because doctors are indoctrinated to believe things, like believing in flying viruses, and their whole sense of being “good doctors” is based upon these beliefs. The alternative, to rejecting these indoctrinated beliefs, is to become a quack. That is how doctors became indoctrinated in the first place. They were told it is only quacks who use natural healing methods. They were told “real” doctors, “professional” ones, use the newest drugs, the radiation treatments, the chemotherapy, etc. To not use these is to become a danger to all patients. That is how doctors think.
So I’m just trying to imagine how any one individual can counter this. I am trying to imagine that any individual with power who tries, might easily be assassinated, for example, a young man who had the power of listening and speaking the truth was assassinated because he was changing the opinions of a lot of young people, and that was very threatening to those who feel their power slipping.
I don’t know the answer, but as a retired MD I understand how doctors were trained to think, and their whole reason for being is to help people with their knowledge. If they find out that with their knowledge they are hurting a lot of people, I think that would be unacceptable to them. Some few brave souls would consider it and look into it, and maybe change, but most doctors would just think it’s absurd to think they’ve been potentially hurting their patients through their whole career.
That’s why I wish it were as simple as RFK Jr. just speaking the whole truth. In fact, I’m not sure even RFK Jr. himself knows the whole truth. But even if he did, it’s a more complex problem with a more complex solution than just telling the doctors of the world that they’ve been damaging their patients.
And of course there are the pharmaceutical cartels to consider. They don’t intend to give up their profits in drugs etc. They don’t intend to put themselves out of business even if any of them realize they are in the business of causing harm to people. How they would respond to the truth is unclear. So far they appear to be just ignoring all the negative information that is becoming available to people. They are hoping people will judge it as “misinformation.”
Most people, I would suppose, rely upon the medical industrial complex, their government enforcers and “protectors”, and the recruits who seek a career, a livelihood, and opportunities to be of service to their fellow human beings, to contend with health problems as they manifest. From my perspective of this SYSTEM of providing what gets called medicine or healthcare , is in all of its facets a cross between a CULTure and a mafia. The CULTural dictates with which participants, adherents, and affiliates must comply in order to remain accepted and licensed are based upon misconceptions, fraud, and ignorance of ignorance.
While the emergency treatment for physical damage is often, as I see it, praiseworthy and effective, the long term care, preventive protocols, and ongoing efforts to promote optimal health and functioning is useless or absent as a result of misunderstanding the biological laws that govern the mind-body. Diagnoses and treatments, whether determined by AI programs or based on training received in medical school are bound to have failures as there is so much more to causal factorS that foster illness, ailments, and dysfunctions. There is a major lack of creativity, intuition, and insights that make medicine/healthcare less of an art form and more of a pseudo science and a business. The simple-minded system of “Name it, Blame it, and Tame it” is fortunately being replaced by practitioners who have taken back their agency and curiosity and are ready to Learn, Grow, Heal, and Contribute.
