stock here: It historically has been mostly petty thefts, opportunistic crimes. But with the leftist Government, and the push towards even worse leftism, and less law enforcement, less judicial staunchness, it’s getting worse. As totally expected. 4 traffic deaths in 4 days of 2026….rarely do police patrol the streets.
This needs to be fixed. Kapolei is the newish “second city” and consists of a large segment of relocated government (out of Honolulu)
For 2025 based on data provided to NSW for District 8 HPD. I was surprised that Kapolei lead all categories, except Motor Vehicle Theft, of Crime and Total Call for Service.
This should be a reason to have more HPD in the Kapolei Beat Patrol Area. If the numbers are correct that HPD provides then the truth is in the numbers.
I have found some errors in the numbers and have reported those back to HPD POC.
