I sometimes think if I was more successful, I’d try to be a part of HAM.
Attempting communication with no
authority mafias, being able to send and receive vital information. My dad was
into the CB 40-channel world during the
boom of Convoy Truckers. I think it was the Country Kitchen chain that had guys
carry in their radios and have their little mini convention right there.
A nice idea, but a little, a lot Naive: they
can set you up, get you Reliant on the
radio, just as they have done with phone
and internet, and then JAM you in old,
crude ways, YADA YADA YADA noise making, but Now also to place your captured voice, instantly, in a robot- commanded false message. Folks are
so woefully unaware of the tech that was already being used against them. HAM can be cleverly manipulated to
stimulate a known demographic: old guys who are radio savvy but not humbled enough to accept that they are propagandized. Then, the crucial moment comes: only a few will have electricity of their own, utilities down for good, and the HAM operator must decide: make announcements to benefit who? Come every body to our little survival stronghold? WHAT DO YOU THINK you’re going to be calling about?
Hey anybody got any WATER? Do you dare bring any Trade Goods to the Town Square? Or is it commanded by criminal monkeys?
It looks like 8 2 hour training sessions, FREE training! Just need the book, and then small fees for the test
I own the equipment already, some pretty good stuff and expensive antennas
