stock here: I put a 4k Robin Cam on this nest while they were still Eggs. They eat their weight in worms and bugs every day. The Mom bird goes 50 feet to one of my compost piles and readily finds worms….not doubt they will come back again and again. “This place rocks!”
Many birds mate for life, but also with a 75% infidelity rate is what I read.
4 or 5 days and they start to look like birds. I postulated that the nest is made the perfect size so that when the chicks get big enough, they want to leave the nest.
