The second time it got more wings and I presented it as more of an evil twist, and was immediately banned from Google, after millions of views throughout the years. Now a few people have picked up with it, and are pushing it even further.

Opera Software ASA announced 18 July 2016 it had sold its browser, privacy and performance apps, and the Opera brand to Golden Brick Capital Private Equity Fund I Limited Partnership. This consortium of Chinese investors was led by Beijing Kunlun Tech Co and Qihoo 360.

China owns 80% of Opera Mini shares, making it potentially controlled by Chinese investors. As a matter of fact, the country from which the company/tech company is sourced is determined by the location of the operator, not the place of investment. Therefore, Opera Mini is a Norwegian app, and not a Chinese app in its entirety.
