Watch the video of how the Airplane CRJ just drops like a rock, tumbling out of the sky in a severe downward parabola. How did it go from 140MPH to 30MPH in an instant? Just the collision of the Helo could not do this, the plane was 4 times heavier than the HELO.
So there was additional energy applied to the CRJ. Think about that.
Does the river vary this much in height? How does one reconcile these pictures?
