What is odd, is that the 97% consensus is that the earth’s core is solid, and that it is Iron and Nickel. That seems very odd to me, under the highest pressures, I would think it would be more of a plasma mix of many things. Note in picture they keep the sections of earth almost completely uniform, however, they do make the inner core a bit less than spherical.
This shows their earthquake sensing and testing method, kind of.
