Aloha Can Be Misunderstood

stock here: seen on Civil Beat, the only partly non-leftist news in Hawaii.

Best comment ever. The authoritarian left have co-opted the heart felt liberals, who will aggressively act to throw their own country to the communists in order to prove their hate for conservatives like Trump and Vance.

Ms Cataluna,

it is not aloha when a group moves to control your life, by force, and censorship, and deceit, and fraud, incrementally more, drip by drip, every day, with them in charge & you subservient & controlled.

For the greater good, of course.

It’s actually a war on human dignity & sovereignty. It is divisive simply because it’s existentially so.

They want to enslave you.

But won’t say so directly, because then it’s too obvious.

War is not aloha.

So when warriors take to that field of battle, against the tyrants,

do not castigate them as contra-aloha.

Support them as being on the high moral ground.

Aloha ain’t enough.

“It’s hard to know what to do to resist the overwhelming forces that seem to be bent on destroying lives and livelihoods …”

People in the formerly industrialized states like Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania have been asking themselves this question for decades as political leaders from both parties pursued pursued economic policies that destroyed their lives and livelihoods. What many don’t seem to understand is that their “resistance” is voting Trump President.

Coastal elites, thriving in their tech and financial service focused economies, did not care about the “rubes” in flyover states losing their good paying jobs and futures. This is why you see the “rubes” now cheering on the actions of the current administration. Sort of a “welcome to the party” sentiment.

I’ll disagree with Lee here about the resistance being aloha. What’s needed is empathy. And that needs to go both ways.Respect6ReplyShareReportkanakakanaka4 hours ago In reply to Downhill_From_Here

What’s needed is personal responsibility and accountability.

These things are as free as aloha.

Too many handouts. Too much excuse making. Too much class warfare.

In deed empathy is just one part of Aloha!RespectReplyShareReportCivilbeet4 hours ago

And this is exactly why people like Trump and Elon never come to Hawaii.

They have business reasons to be here. But did you ever see them?

They can’t.

The energy is so different.

Like kryptonite.

They would spontaneously combust upon setting foot.

Wishing death on people you don’t agree with is the antithesis of ALOHA.Respected1ReplyShareReportBigDaddy2 hours ago
