Not exactly the same, but in LA show bizness, big-time union overtime gigs
end when the project is finished. So, before the next show ramps up and you get a paycheck, you go to Employment department and sign up for your routine Unemployment check. Show people become experts and benefit several times per year between gigs, typically .
No accounting for your accumulated wealth, only that you and the employer paid into the UI .
