A reader submitted this link related to the Chrnobuyl coverup. But at least at Chernobyl, they eventually faced the task at hand, sending as many as 500,000 "liquidators" to clean up as best they could.

Nuclear is built on lies. Nuclear safety is an oxymoron. By definition there can be no such thing as safe nuclear. Fission creates poisonous death. The Nukers use their PR tools and lapdog media sockpuppets to mislead the public about "nuclear safety." Name a nuclear accident and I'll show how the nukers lied to US about how the accident did not hurt anyone and there was "no immediate health threat from radiation." Aka, you and your children will die later from radiation exposure originating from the "safe" nuke site...
