I should be able to participate in one or two NOAA Whale Surveys in 2019. The whale "season" is basically December through March. LOL one NOAA site was "down due to lack of funding". Curious if this has been down for quite some time, I mean sheesh, they could have asked me to host it on Godaddy for $50 a year. Or is this just some hijinks to "make Trump look bad". A Hawaii friend who works for NOAA (and is pretty awake, or at least old school on many things) says that 90% of NOAA is anti-Trump and middle to far left. He keeps his opinions quiet for job preservation.

But here is Whale Data from Maui. They are highly invested in whales, as whale watching is a key tourist attraction, and can be a primary draw to get people to visit that island. Tourism is crucially important to all the islands.

SCJ Ruth Ginsburg -- Lies About "Nodules" Her Condition Is More Serious and Ability to "Vote" While on Serious Pain Meds Is Not in Question

RBG had a lobectomy on her left lung. It is important to understand the scope of this procedure has a cut off of usually mid-70s for surgery approval, a few cases at age 80. So at 85, no medicare, even good supplemental insurance would cover for a person her age. This procedure would have be done by a rogue doctor charging exorbitant fees in an ultra private setting--- bottom line if this was your Grannie, she would have been given sedatives for comfort and classified as hospice.
Now lets talk about the lobectomy itself. Our lungs have 5 lobes the right has 3, the left has 2. RBG had her left inferior lobe removed.

First, lets look at her history. Pancreatic and Colon cancer. Both have high rates of metastatic spread. She "beat" (spoken more as a prayer by the left than any scientific based assessment) both.
Several items can be taken away from her recent history.
- She has no predisposing risks for a primary cancer of the lungs. This most likely presents as a secondary metastasis. More likely a recurrence of her pancreatic cancer than colon. The tumors in her lungs were likely discovered on a chest CT taken during her rib fracture treatment. For them to have gone in and taken them out would indicate that they are large and fast growing. They would likely have been detected at her annual checkup otherwise or, if they were small, would have been monitored over the next 6 months to determine if they were concerning and growing rapidly. This indicates to me that they were large and were likely known to be cancerous because other lesions were seen on the bone and in the CT scan.
- Her fall was into a piece of furniture, not onto the floor. She is active, has the best medical care available, and likely has some mild to moderate osteoporosis. This would not account for the fracture. Given the location and degree of trauma this is likely a pathologic fracture from mets to her bone.
- Her recent appearance where should had difficulty remembering constitutional facts and had to be reminded could be attributed to her age (85) but also could be early findings of mets to the brain.
- Likely she has a recurrent pancreatic cancer that has rapidly spread and is most likely a stage IV at this time. 5 year survival is less than 1.5%. Given past history and age you are looking at months, perhaps several weeks. In any event it would be difficult or impossible for her to serve in the next court session.
"Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg underwent a pulmonary lobectomy today at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Two nodules in the lower lobe of her left lung were discovered incidentally during tests performed at George Washington University Hospital to diagnose and treat rib fractures sustained in a fall on November 7. According to the thoracic surgeon, Valerie W. Rusch, MD, FACS, both nodules removed during surgery were found to be malignant on initial pathology evaluation. Post-surgery, there was no evidence of any remaining disease. Scans performed before surgery indicated no evidence of disease elsewhere in the body. Currently, no further treatment is planned. Justice Ginsburg is resting comfortably and is expected to remain in the hospital for a few days. Updates will be provided as they become available."
Medfag response…It is important to note that this assessment was given by officers of the Court, not the actual physician performing the procedures or managing her care.
More info has also come out as to the exact procedure that was performed. They did not take out the nodes, they did an entire lobectomy. That is not a minor surgery. She is thin and likely would have had a less invasive procedure than a full thoracotomy but it would still be a significant surgery particularly given her age and prior health concerns.
Another concern that I didn't voice earlier was the lymphdenopathy on her right neck (the large lump seen on numerous pics of Ginsburg).
The only real reason to elect to do surgery at her age is either palliative or to develop an autologous vaccine type therapy specific for the cancer.
I can of course be completely wrong, but the assertion of the court that she is free and clear seems to be premature.

On the other hand, her view of the traditional family was radical feminist. She said that the concept of husband-breadwinner and wife-homemaker “must be eliminated from the code if it is to reflect the equality principle,” (Page 206) and she called for “a comprehensive program of government supported child care.” (Page 214)
Ginsburg wrote that the Mann Act (which punishes those who engage in interstate sex traffic of women and girls) is “offensive.” Such acts should be considered “within the zone of privacy.” (Page 98)
She demanded that we “firmly reject draft or combat exemption for women,” stating “women must be subject to the draft if men are.” But, she added, “the need for affirmative action and for transition measures is particularly strong in the uniformed services.” (Page 218)
An indefatigable censor, Ginsburg listed hundreds of “sexist” words that must be eliminated from all statutes. Among words she found offensive were: man, woman, manmade, mankind, husband, wife, mother, father, sister, brother, son, daughter, serviceman, longshoreman, postmaster, watchman, seamanship, and “to man” (a vessel). (Pages 15-16)
She even wanted he, she, him, her, his, and hers to be dropped down the memory hole. They must be replaced by he/she, her/him, and hers/his, and federal statutes must use the bad grammar of “plural constructions to avoid third person singular pronouns.” (Page 52-53)
Not only did Ginsburg pass former President Bill Clinton’s litmus test of being pro-abortion, but she was also on record as opposing what was then settled law that the Constitution does not compel taxpayers to pay for abortions.
In her chapter in a 1980 book, Constitutional Government in America, she condemned the Supreme Court’s ruling in Harris v. McRae and claimed that taxpayer-funded abortions should be a constitutional right."

Methinks the "Judge" wants to keep Flynn on "the hook" even longer to create additional testimony against 2 people, who were related to Flynn and indicted JUST YESTERDAY in Virginia methinks.
It's all part of the shitshow.
They need a weaker player who will cave, even full on lie, to get more apparent dirt on Trump. Flynn is not the man they need, so they will play Flynn for "more cooperation". I don't think he will allow it.
The timing is suspicious. Also, the charges were strictly that he "lied to the FBI" about whether he
had talked to someone or not. So for the judge to bring up a completely "new issue" and ask special prosecutor whether he could also be tried under the Logan act (which no one has ever been tried under), and then bring up "treason" is PAR FOR THE COURSE . But I think it ratchets things up to a new level of prosecutorial misconduct, and set the FBI players up for criminal charges.

Methinks the "Judge" wants to keep Flynn on "the hook" even longer to create additional testimony against 2 people, who were related to Flynn and indicted JUST YESTERDAY in Virginia methinks.
It's all part of the shitshow.
They need a weaker player who will cave, even full on lie, to get more apparent dirt on Trump. Flynn is not the man they need, so they will play Flynn for "more cooperation". I don't think he will allow it.
The timing is suspicious. Also, the charges were strictly that he "lied to the FBI" about whether he had talked to someone or not. So for the judge to bring up a completely "new issue" and ask special prosecutor whether he could also be tried under the Logan act (which no one has ever been tried under), and then bring up "treason" is PAR FOR THE COURSE . But I think it ratchets things up to a new level of prosecutorial misconduct, and set the FBI players up for criminal charges.
