Science Without Soul. Just Because We Can Doesnt Mean We Should (But This Jupiter Flyover is Cool)

Yes, that little meme came to me as I was waking up.   Science Without Soul, without any sense of spirituality and the connectedness of things, is a horrible thing.   A very dangerous thing.

It seems that the more we learn, the further we get away from reality.

There is a certain coldness built into science, the the trend seems to be for science to isolate itself further in that coldness, rather than to reach out into the intertwined nature of things.

Check the Jupiter flyover below.     There is a science meme going around that we can colonize other planets.   That there is an option to earth.   Maybe for a handful, but not even likely.    This meme attempts to keep people realizing or worrying about how badly we are screwing up the planet, our water, our food.

More on this later.
Anyone with examples of how science is just being abused, getting it so wrong.   Please chime in.

While climate isn’t Nigel Farage’s primary concern, there is no doubt he is a skeptic. For several years, Lord Monckton served as Nigel Farage’s UKIP climate spokesman.

The Democratic Unionist Party, who are making the demand, hold the balance of power in the new UK parliament. Their support is absolutely essential for any hope for embattled British PM Theresa May to form a stable government.

This is a wholly unexpected and delicious twist from the fallout of a UK election, which until polling day presented the British people with a choice between hardline green globalists and raving loony green globalists.

If the Man in the Mirror
When you get what you want in your struggle for self,
And the world makes you king for a day,
Then go to the mirror and look at yourself,
And see what that man has to say.
For it isn't a man's father, mother or wife,
Whose judgement upon him must pass,
The fellow whose verdict counts most in life,
Is the man staring back from the glass.
He's the fellow to please, never mind all the rest,
For he's with you clear to the end,
And you've passed your most dangerous, difficult test,
If the man in the glass is your friend.
You can fool the whole world down the pathway of years,
And get pats on the back as you pass,
But the final reward will be heartache and tears,
If you've cheated the man in the glass.

It was composed by an anonymous prisoner who was later executed.
