The new owners objectives are not to kill the site, not to create a martyr, and force people to recreate a similar site, or move to other sites to continue activism.

As one of the most effective educational anti-nuclear sites, they deemed it far more effective to keep it alive in zombie state, and keep the activists here.   But also make their work irrelevant or unseen, or worse, discredited because of the association with the violence, profanity, terrorist type comments from this character called Farthington Macmananus "Fart" Man Anus.  

Fart blankets comments so they can't be seen on the right side bar, and just basically disgusts everyone.    A newcomer would think that anti-nuclear people are all "out there" disgusting whackos.   

Other suspicious items.

There is no longer an "submit a tip" box.     

The paypal donate button no longer goes to "Admin@enenews.com"

The historical articles and comments has been greatly reduced.

Website functionality is pretty horrific on just basic things like logging in, posting a comment.  Like it was designed to be laborious and frustrating for users.


An alternative with a good and responsive admin is here.    Not trying to steal away "customers" from ENENEWS, but if you really want to get away from the trolls, its a good place.
