Recalling John 1:45-46, I ask rhetorically "Can anything good come out of Kalifornication?"
The heavy-duty dialectic of Democrat and Republican, Right and Left, Capitalist and Communist, Progressive and Conservative, and viral variants (!) continue to plague humanity's Mass Mind as intended. Not so much "opposites" as usually supposed, these adjectival nouns serve more as apposites, mutually defining each other with distinctions less than those of the good Rev. Dodgson's Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. In such manner, distractions, deceptions, and dissemblings dominate both conventional and alternative media -- present company excepted.
Considering the corruption, open contempt, and frank depravity of putative principals on both wings of the two-headed bird (Phoenix), it's a wonder to me how anyone can take this seriously. Some have wisely called for disentanglement, decentralization, and, especially in commerce, disintermediation. What welcome concepts! The way forward entails leaving behind that which does not serve us any longer at all.
By resisting not evil, by withdrawing attention and contention, we cease to give life to that which seeks our injury and death. We have time and energy to move away and get on with the purpose of Life, which is living, loving, and enjoying each other in GOD's Creation.
