Bizarre Behavior of Rotating Bodies

stock here If I want to be known for anything in particular, I would like to be known for this doosey

----

"Shit Loves to Spin"

We'll look at this again, in the likes of Earth Geophysics and other Cosmology

Suspicious Observers chimes in on this also, I am also not sure Ben makes the case. There would be long term anomolies in magnetic orienation of fresh lava flows during the periods of being 90deg off.

  1. Engine Room here:

Real brain teaser from this theory; Janibekov's,rotating nut has caused astonishment and simultaneous danger to a certain part of the scientific world. A hypothesis was proposed that our planet in the course of its orbit motion can execute the same overturn.

I understand the effect of Z,Y and X axis of a single spinning object but if one were a fan of my favorite instrument a Gimbal we understand that planet Earth is a gigantic Gyroscope. Due to the torque of the moon and sun. This still varies as the Z-axis will point towards the sun and then away.

Mars is mentioned but she has two moons so the core had to fail? No magnetic-field, no atmosphere. Or was there a time Mars had more moons and\or none?

Would a second moon for Earth lesson precession Z-axis?

Great post stock, it's science like this that gets us away from our cornball society.

    1. Yes been on my radar a while....The Earth is not symmetric, just look at Google Earth and center Hawaii in the view.....its ALL ocean, half the effing globe is all ocean!!!!

    2. Ship's Theory:

Aye, Earth has the largest bulge of all the planets because of the weight of all that water.

Spin Theory : Earth's magnetosphere starts at about 53 miles in altitude and extends to the moon. The ISS is in a orbit 230 miles altitude.

This theory will only work if the spinning nut is steel.

Magnetic dipole: The strength of a magnetic dipole, called the magnetic dipole moment, may be thought of as a measure of a dipole’s ability to turn itself into alignment with a given external magnetic field. In a uniform magnetic field, the magnitude of the dipole moment is proportional to the maximum amount of torque on the dipole, which occurs when the dipole is at right angles to the magnetic field. The magnetic dipole moment, often simply called the magnetic moment, may be defined then as the maximum amount of torque caused by magnetic force on a dipole that arises per unit value of surrounding magnetic field in vacuum.
