R4 Spent Fuel Pool Fires

This video was posted on June 13, 2011 Look at the time stamp at the upper center Unit 3, (a clear color because black and white is unknown) from Unit 4 white smoke began a large jet suddenly. Wrapped in the smoke (1:30 from time), from the camera was about power plant is no longer visible. Or due to the fact that the re-criticality happened? Or because the cooling water is insufficient? It is anxiety really. In addition, for some time from last night, so it seems to be scattered in the Kanto area and riding the north wind, everyone (especially children) is by, for example, wear the mask, let's note the internal exposure! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

  1. I believe this is being caused by what I call The Fuky Effect: The on-again, off-again fissioning of the ☢ corium(s), as they interact with water below Fukushima.

    1. Incorrect. You flunked reactor design, nuclear materials, and consequence assessment. Oh nevermind, you didnt study that.

  2. There is no Fuku effect you nit noggin. Subcritical fissions always occur. Its basic nuclear physics. There is enough sokid boron in the sfp for adequate shutdown margin.

    1. Drone on, bonehead, you think the corium is in the spent fuel pool? You haven't even read CaptD's comment.

The coriums are in the underground river, being dissolved into the ocean.

      Wake the fuck up

    2. Corium being very dense, 6x that of ground and 12x that of water, doesnt migrate. Muon tomography from lanl suggests its at the botton of the RPV.oh i forgot you dont believe in muon tomography.

    5. @ Loose Nuke ...??? You apparently you're not very good at analyzing test data to Muon Tomography shows What is left what you see is the remanence The device did not look under the ground and I'll tell you what is happening the three reactor cores Will eventually melt together.... It's one thing to be book smart if it's another thing to be on the job and know what happens this will never end well ...fool your book smart fool you can quote so many specifications but he can't even see past his nose.... the cancers coming to your brother... or are you a bot? Now I Suspect You're An Industry Insider Or Is Financially Invested In The Murder Of The Earth.... God Help You

    6. Im on the job Duke. Ive been on the job since 311. Thats why its easy to debunk what is written by paranoid conspiacy theorists as yourself. Not just book smart. Rather just smart. The material is still on site. If it were not there then there would be no reason to restrict personnel access to where the rpvs arr located. Yes the corium source term is large, yet well contained by its own geometry.

  3. Then answer me this, where is this geometrical corium sitting, it is not in the scans... what is the geometry of this corium? how was it revealed to you? did you see it in an out of body experience? and lemme just laughably ask once again to prove that you arent just reading daddys old popular mechanics/science magazines and coming here with your 'word of the day'... jeesh guysh thish one will getsh em goodsh thish time... and "on the job since 311"... that statement makes sense only if you have been employed to try and sway blog opinions. which is hardly worthy of such a highly edumacated a-hole as yourself.

    1. What is even more obnoxious is an ARROGANT troll.

typical effing nukist, arrogance, playing God with atoms

    2. The corium is most likely plated out at the bottom of the rpv and pcv. Its in a thin layer. You know what happens to pancake batter when it hits the griddle? It slabs out. I wouldnt expect it to be in a ball. Its there.

    4. LOL Loose Kook 100 tons just "plated out"

Kind of like that Chernobyl elephants foot, eh?

Sheesh. TEPCO admitted the meltouts, wow. Troll still trotting out tired lies.

  4. If God didnt want man to use nature He would have made the universe a different way. Harnessing the atom like anything can be used for good or evil. We are called to use animal, vegetable, mineral, all the elements of the heavens and earth to the greater good. I dont really understand how a materials engineer can in all honesty choose to exclude one material over the other under the pretext of "mass murder". From my perspective two elements that have lead to more mass murder than any element in the periodic table is hydrogen and oxygen. Throw in a little carbon in there and you get the picture. When you reference 'precious' its human life that matters. That is why I study and work with the atom. Its inate in all of us. I like what I do and bring to the table. You can be one of two people - one that is a spectator who complains and pisses and moans like your associates or one that works at it to always make it better. I would rather move the human condition forward. There are a lot of people in the world that do not enjoy what you or I enjoy. They live in squalor, crap in rivers, live in disease and squalor. Their population is exponentially increasing. Nuclear can save them.
