And just because a founder quotes something does not mean that I will immediately accept it, respect it, or consider it the truth.

DeleteIn lay terms our country operates on laws passed by the people, such as a president only gets a 4 year term which makes America a democracy. If our country is run by a person (men) then his rule, is the law. He stays in power forever, becoming an autocrat, dictator or tyrant, where there is no rule of law, only his rule of law and not the peoples rights or their enjoyment of liberty. Is this what you want?
All grade schoolers learn about civics their civics class; you must have been absent those years. Just called the school district with K-12 approximately 1,340 students and asked about all civics classes. Civics she stated begins in the 2nd grade beginning with Health and hygiene along with understanding of our government and what it means beginning in the 3rd grade. These civic class's lasts to the 5th grade and you get the "Weekly Reader" which explores government and politics on a weekly discussion and homework. Civics is taught at the HS level in Social Studies to varying degrees. This is a state wide program. So there you go. I remember being in civics class a lot.
I could conclude from this, that you were exposed to civics and don't remember it or the school system failed you. Why not just blame others for your lack of understanding as you usually do. Seems to be a typical MO for you.

English sentence structure;
The entire paragraph beginning with; “Now to what higher object,..." is only one sentence long, meaning all elements of the sentence are of one meaning, you the reader must combine all the words into one complete thought. This is chess, not checkers.
