It seems that the plot continues to be a semi-real civil war in which everyone is "out raged" at what is going on.
Expect more on that line in all the story lines in media. Don't fall for it. Observe it for what it is, clearly identify the enemy, and meditate. Improve yourself and improve your life whilst taking adequate precautions.
Video security will do a lot to have bad actors find easier targets.
