Blue Jet Lightning: A Result of the Global Electric Circuit, Necessary to Understand Space Weather and Changing Weather

I was aware of "sprites" but not this Blue Jets. I assume it is the weakening magnetic field and the CONTINUED ONSLAUGHT of Galactic Cosmic Rays

And Just last month July 13th saw a huge CME creating a Halo, but it wasn't earth directed, it was exactly the opposite side of the sun, and was so powerful, it was detected like an X class flare on Earth.   

The biggest CMEs occur at periods of low sun spot activity.

 

Farside Explosion Touches Earth

July 15, 2021: Imagine an explosion on the farside of the sun so powerful, we could feel it here on Earth. It happened on July 13th. The debris emerged in a circular cloud known as a ‘halo CME‘:
