Many people are trying to decipher what really happened by listening to shot sounds, to determine
different caliber ammo being used, and perhaps "number of shooters".
Some have proposed that a bullet that can travel faster than speed of sound will make a sonic boom as it transitions from subsonic to supersonic, AND also another boom when it slows down from supersonic to below the speed of sound.
There were also echos occurring in the LV coverage.
Some bullets are designed to fly supersonic -- above the speed of sound. Shouldn't they break windows like the Concord used to?
Do they make a sonic boom? Yes. But they are small so you are not going to blow windows out. The shape, length and max cross sectional width are important in how much "sound" aka pressure pulses, are made.

So let's clear something up right away. Many people see a photo like this airplane "passing through the speed of sound", and that feeds into the idea that a sonic boom is a one time event that occur while passing from below to above speed of sound. But that is wrong, get past that thinking to really understand it.
A sonic boom is not a singularity, not a one time event.
Sonic boom does not occur when an object accelerates from a subsonic speed to a supersonic one, so it does not occur in the opposite case either.
Nothing special happens in either case, except that the aerodynamics of the object change.
An object moving at supersonic speeds leaves behind a conical shockwave, like the bow wave of a boat but in 3D.
Sonic boom is what occurs from the perspective of an external observer when the shockwave passes them. Thus, sonic boom is not a single event, but every observer hears their own sonic boom at a different time. Anyone moving along with the object, such as the pilot of an aircraft, will not hear a boom.

The Vegas Plot Thickens: The Connection Between The Shooter And An Intelligence Agency
I woke today determine to ignore the LV incident and focus on "my real life". But out of the gate, I saw headlines on "The Girlfriend landed in LA" and was "met" by officials. Reading the story, disappointed as usual. No reporting was done, no specifics. No Who, What, Where, When, Why.
I figured out how he concealed the rifles over three days by finding some pictures of the entire suite type that he was in.

One narrative they are trying to push, is that the authorities did a great job in shutting down the shooter quickly. Nothing is further from the truth.
What I saw was cowardice,
officers running away and not directing people,
officers trying to convince a citizen first responder that the reason they turned the field lights off was because "everyone was dead" whilst he was actively coordinating the saving of people's live who were still alive on that field.
I saw piss poor communications,
I saw focusing on details that didn't matter,
I saw them ignoring reports from an Iraq vet who had pinpointed the shooter in the first minutes.
I saw officers cowering behind a wall even though they should have known in full auto mode the shooter could not readily target them and would not likely target them as the shooters "logical" target would be center of crowd mass.
I saw younger cops ready to be more aggressive and being reigned in by the order guys.
I saw rifles not being used.
I saw no suppression fire.
I saw NONE of the 20 off duty police that were hired by the event.
I saw video evidence of flashes from the 4th floor just left of the center column. I heard police stating shots coming from middle height of the building. None of these were ever argued or explained, but the "one crazy white guy narrative" was sure pushed.
Per the USA today timeline, selling a "great response meme", at 10:24 about 3 minutes after the last heard shot, the police have a hotel security guard go to the door. Note---they don't shoot off the locks and charge in. They have the security guard go to the door and what, knock? He gets shot through the door.
So it took 16 minutes to get a security in front of the room door, to get shot. Then another 26 minutes later they were still "converging" on the 32nd floor. And what kind of "confrontation" do they speak of "Hey come on out, give yourself up", Seriously did they even try such a vacuous thing? It could have spurred him to start shooting again.
They state that Paddock killed himself when the FBI SWAT finally blew open the door with explosives. But they provide no proof, and the "breech, breech, breech" tape gives no hint of a gunshot after the door blast. Very likely, he killed himself after the security guard was shot, otherwise, why did he not go back to firing?
So if they would have just gun blasted through the door at that time, it could have been known that the danger was over. People could have stopped panicking below and getting hurt. Medical aid and lighting could have been given freely and without caution. And maybe 30 lives could have been saved. I will say it....the slow acting, the non-courageous and poorly coordinated efforts cost probably 30 human lives.
Another narrative is that Paddock was a highly trained shooter and that if he flinched even 1 degree

"point" of this narrative, but he had a huge "view angle" on the crowd,

One question I posed to the Las Vegas Police, which they have not responded to directly, was on

Between first call to Police at 10:08 and breach of room at 11:20, that is 72 minutes long. Please explain why that room was not breached say 4 to 6 minutes, the lock could easily be shot out with pistol fire if need be.

In a news report today his Girl Friend (GF) was called a long term GF. But she just got divorced in 2015, the same year that Paddock moved from Florida to Nevada. How long has their relationship actually been?
One of video, I noted the stop and start points of shooting. I heard one eye witness say the shooting went on for 10 minutes, but you know how unreliable witnesses can be during emergency, others said about 4 minutes. auto weapons are accessible for sale, they call for extensive ATF
documentation, background checks and extremely long wait periods
approaching one year.

shockingly high body count would not have been likely if folks had been

folks, preventing them from escaping, and denying them the capacity to
seek cover. From there, continual, full-auto gunfire is almost
improbable to survive. Furthermore, once the shooting began, the stage
lights were aimed to the crowd, lighting up the audience and making them
an much easier target for the shooter(s). Was this planned?

did the shooter have as many as 10 firearms in his room? Based on news
reports, the shooter – known as Stephen Paddock – had as many as 10
firearms in his room, which include several rifles. If he was the sole
shooter, what’s the issue of using so many rifles? One dude can clearly
only shoot one rifle, and since he possessed a full auto rifle, he could
clearly accomplish his evil aims by concentrating on his one rifle.
There was no demand for him to have numerous rifles. Hence were the
other rifles contributed to the room to “stage” the crime scene with an
large quantity of guns?
Why would one elderly man make an effort to
carry 8 – 10 weapons to a hotel room to begin with? That’s a lot of
work. Rifles are not lightweight equipment. I get the concept that a
lone, elderly man would carry so many rifles to a hotel room for no
sensible reason to be tremendously suspect. It makes no sense at all.

A prime component in creating instability is to divide the country, which they have been doing for years.
So my first theory, and it still applies, is that they wanted to further divide the sports loving Patriots, and so they came up with the "Disrespect the National Anthem" meme via kneeling, instead of hand over heart.
But that didn't sit well, well enough. And I think I have more of the answer now.
After a big Football week and weekend, I was reflecting on how many places, even small colleges have football teams, and how people loved to participate in this type of "battle". The Packers whooped up on the Chicago Bears, swinging the long term win loss into the Packers advantage for the first time in 84 years. Kind of big, one of the greatest rivalries in sports. Then Northwestern went up against the Badgers, David versus Goliath in a way, Northwestern just has 7000 students, and Wisconsin is over 50,000. So Football was on my mind.
The level of "love of sports" has always amazed me. I was an Equipment Coach for Northwestern's team, as well as actually playing a Big 10 sport myself, which was Waterpolo. But standing on the sidelines at Northwestern games gave me a sense of the majesty of the game.
There seems to be some need for people to get "enough fighting". Evolutionarily, it makes sense. If groups of peoples were too peaceful, the competition would be less, extending into reproductive competition also. Sports lets people play out their need to be part of a fight. It's a good relief valve for society, a necessary one.
And Football being the most violent of the organized fighting that we (mostly) all love, is the Battle Royale. So if some evil James Bond type villains wanted to increase the stress on a society, to increase the need to fight, what could be more perfect than to take away /reduce the efficacy of society's relief valve?
So the Football Knee to the Groin of America is a "wonderful" one two punch.
