Organic Garden Pictures Sept 2016 -- One Step Away From "Our Toxic Environment"

I have been meaning to do this for quite some time.     I could annotate all these pictures, and it would take many hours that I don't have today.

So I am going to just dump the pictures into a series of posts.    Please comment on the ones you like.

It is clear to me, that if you even have a chance of growing some of your own food and you are not doing it--Then you are living irresponsibly.   Sorry if that fits your case, but it is true.   Think about it, take small steps.   You don't have to produce ALL your food to get benefit from producing some of your food.     Of course, there are those without the time, but do have the money to purchase organic.     Good move there too.

 I put dog hair around the entry ways that I often don't close up.    It is pretty effective at keeping critters out, I don't have many critter losses. 

 This is a Mason bee hive.    They pollinate 50 to 100 times more than honey bees.

We heard there was some Veterans thing going on.   Then this morning I heard a helicopter nearby, which is unusual.   

Then a Huey went chopping over G2

We decided to go to the Veterans deal and see what was going on.

They skimmed the trees pretty close, when they went past G2 I thought they were maybe only 100 feet up maybe 150

Earth just had a 'close shave' with a 180ft asteroid - and no one saw it coming

Astronomers marked one such close shave at the weekend after an asteroid larger than a Blue Whale whizzed between the Earth and the moon – a hair’s breadth in astronomical terms.

Brazilian sky watchers had only just discovered the asteroid, called 2016 QA2, the day before it zoomed by within 50,000 miles (80,000 km) of Earth.

This cheered me up. Reality is they might not see it coming and with only 24 hours notice wont have time to save all the politicians and bankers so humanity should have a chance to restart without being handicapped with a large pool of weasels
