Pro-Biotics -- A Key to Fighting Radiation Damage to The Body and Immune System
This is a broad subject, so I am just going to throw a bunch of ideas "on paper" for further development.
Just today, and article of how being overweight increases the chances of some cancers up to 500% higher chance.
So here is stocks Hypothesis: Poor gut flora leads to poor digestion, and thus being overweight. Poor gut flora also leads to poor immune system function. The combination leads to Diseases and Cancer, especially when there is radiation and heavy metals in our environment.
Some sources say that your intestines are home to 500 million bacteria.
Taking anti-biotics is very likely to trash your gut flora also. So you need to focus on Pro-biotics during and after a round of anti-biotics.
Yogurt -- Very simple to make at home, just using Milk or Goats Milk and a $40 Yogurt maker. You do need a "starter mix" of some store bought pro-biotic yogurt. They say only use it twice. I never got to the bottom of that theory, but speculate its for safety since bad bacteria may have a chance to multiply. [Acidophilus, Bifidus, Thermophiles, and Bulgaricus]
Apple Cider Vinegar -- 2 Tablespoons, with a quick chaser of lemon water.
Pickles without Vinegar -- Lacto-Fermented --
Natto -- Fermented Soy Bean [Bacillus Subtilis] -- The Japanese simply call it Natto Bacteria
Miso -- Fermented Soy Beans, again, but can also be from rye, rice, or barley, but this time fermented with a fungus called Kojikan.
Kefir -- Created by adding Kefir grains to Milk which then ferment
Kimchi -- Garlic, Onions, Hot Peppers all in one pro-biotic goodness. It's Korean Sauerkraut, and yes Korean Air travel company does in fact smell like Kimchi
Sauerkraut -- lol American Kinchi-- Make your own, jarred Sauerkraut sold in stores is probably "pasteurized" meaning they killed all the bacteria. [lactobacillus, pediococcus, and leuconostoc]

Clinton as a Fatally Flawed Candidate -- and A Study of Cognitive Bias
I was reading this article on Cognitive Bias, and the author's assertions that "thinking was hard" even almost impossible to make good decisions. I disagree. It is hard to figure out the truth when 90% of what is presented in the MSM is false or at least heavily slanted.
Then I came across an article how describing Hillary as "flawed" was itself flawed. Hmmmm.....kind of reminds me of the "fake news" meme.

"Gut Flora" Now Going Mainstream As It Should -- Huff Post
I don't often read Huff Post. I used to, and used to participate in numerous discussions. Of course Huff Post is as slanted far left as you can get, that is not me. So I tried to have discussion, and understand positions. It was pretty useless, maybe only 1 person of 100 would even consider facts that I brought to the table.
But in researching the "Russia Did It" meme I ran across some interesting stuff at Huff.
It's title leans heavy on the "New Years Resolution Diet" and the idea that you may fail...not because it's your fault....but because you just have the wrong bacteria in your gut.
Your Microbiome May Determine Whether Your Diet Succeeds Or Fails
It's a good article, because it is bringing important information to the forefront, mainstream. But as with all scientific documents I have searched, it falls far short of providing specific actionable information.
One of the cited authors appears to push her "plant based food" agenda, saying:
“When you look at populations that eat real food that’s high in fiber, and more plant-based foods, you’re going to see they have a more robust microbiota, with more genetic diversity, healthier species and fewer pathogenic bacteria living in the gut
So it's the "fiber" push --- which is fine, but comes without any justification.
And "no one" knows how long corrective actions will take. Or how much "fermented foods" are needed.
LOL "Even I" the Nukepro, do not know how much pro-biotic foods are "necessary". I do try to eat 3 pro-biotic things almost every day. Specifically, actively fermented stuff, not just "high fiber vegetables".
This article says that stress can alter your gut flora, decreasing good bacteria, and increasing bad, with a negative affect on the immune system.

Abstract
Global loss of honey bee colonies is threatening the human food supply. Diverse pathogens reduce honey bee hardiness needed to sustain colonies, especially in winter. We isolated a free-living Gram negative bacillus from hemolymph of worker honey bees (Apis mellifera) found separated from winter clusters. In some hives, greater than 90% of the dying bees detached from the winter cluster were found to contain this bacterium in their hemolymph. Throughout the year, the same organism was rarely found in bees engaged in normal hive activities, but was detected in about half of Varroa destructor mites obtained from colonies that housed the septic bees. Flow cytometry of hemolymph from septic bees showed a significant reduction of plasmatocytes and other types of hemocytes. Interpretation of the16S rRNA sequence of the bacterium indicated that it belongs to the Serratia genus of Gram-negative Gammaproteobacteria, which has not previously been implicated as a pathogen of adult honey bees. Complete genome sequence analysis of the bacterium supported its classification as a novel strain of Serratia marcescens, which was designated as S. marcescens strain sicaria (Ss1). When compared with other strains of S. marcescens, Ss1 demonstrated several phenotypic and genetic differences, including 65 genes not previously found in other Serratia genomes. Some of the unique genes we identified in Ss1 were related to those from bacterial insect pathogens and commensals. Recovery of this organism extends a complex pathosphere of agents which may contribute to failure of honey bee colonies.

A significant number of genetically modified (GM) crops have been approved to enter
human food and animal feed since 1996, including crops containing several GM genes
'stacked' into the one plant. We randomised and fed isowean pigs (N=168) either a mixed
GM soy and GM corn (maize) diet (N=84) or an equivalent non-GM diet (N=84) in a longterm
toxicology study of 22.7 weeks (the normal lifespan of a commercial pig from
weaning to slaughter). Equal numbers of male and female pigs were present in each
group. The GM corn contained double and triple-stacked varieties. Feed intake, weight
gain, mortality and blood biochemistry were measured. Organ weights and pathology
were determined post-mortem. There were no differences between pigs fed the GM and
non-GM diets for feed intake, weight gain, mortality, and routine blood biochemistry
measurements. The GM diet was associated with gastric and uterine differences in pigs.
GM-fed pigs had uteri that were 25% heavier than non-GM fed pigs (p=0.025). GM-fed
pigs had a higher rate of severe stomach inflammation with a rate of 32% of GM-fed pigs
compared to 12% of non-GM-fed pigs (p=0.004). The severe stomach inflammation was
worse in GM-fed males compared to non-GM fed males by a factor of 4.0 (p=0.041), and
GM-fed females compared to non-GM fed females by a factor of 2.2 (p=0.034).
